Committee Structure
The VoA Committee are elected by the members and stand for 1 year. Committee members must be current members of VoA.
Committee members can elect to stand again as per the AGM process.
General Committee members who assist with social and fund-raising activities, vehicle management, building maintenance, social media presence and project management as defined by the committee.
Member Volunteers who assist VoA with social and fund-raising activities, building maintenance, duty officer and welfare activities as requested by the committee.
All positions have a job description.
Admin Support
During opening hours, the centre is managed by our admin staff. This includes the office manager, paid and volunteer admin staff to ensure our processes run smoothly, phones and emails answered.
Duty Officers
An important role for VOA are our Duty Officers. These volunteers, most ex serving veterans, welcome visitors and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone in the centre. They are always up for a yarn and making a cuppa as well as maintaining the centre and hoisting the flags and VOA banner.
